My name is Kristina P. Ushakova and I was born and raised in Burlington, Vermont. I received a B.S. in Exercise and Movement Science from The University of Vermont and an M.S. in Applied Sport Science from East Tennessee State University. In addition to my educational pursuits, I was privileged to be a resident Weightlifting athlete at ETSU’s Olympic Training Site. My coaching experiences are diverse; including Weightlifting, collegiate strength and conditioning, CrossFit, personal training, and nutrition. My passion lies in Weightlifting coaching and consulting with athletes regarding their attitudes and beliefs towards training, nutrition, sleep, and self-care. Athletics have the power to radically change an individual’s physiology and psychology and it is my goal to provide each individual athlete with the tools they need to be successful on their journey towards optimal adaptation. The intention of this platform is multi-faceted: to share my personal insights, successes, & failures, to celebrate my athletes as they progress through their respective journeys, to share resources, and to provide inspiration as you discover what it looks like to progress towards your best self.
